Well hello friends! Jilly says she does in fact read this, so I guess I will keep writing--ahh, ok so I would keep writing anyway but I had to give Jill some credit (ps Jill, we totally need to do something crazy! We haven't even seen you since you returned to Utah! What's up with that?) For those of you who don't already know, my friends and I do some pretty random stuff when we hang out. Unfortunately, without Jilly around to excite us, the only random thing Kris and I have done lately (besides packing up and drivin to Idaho to visit Jill) is baking a bright pink and green cake at 3am just to see how the color would work...I don't think we really even ate much of it lol.
Moving on... I finished the "Uglies" series of books by Scott Westerfield last night. They are super weird, and at first I was almost afraid to admit I was reading such random books, but they turned out to be pretty good...In fact, I finished all 4 in two days...If you have not read them, and you're looking for a book--Read them! They are...interesting! The saddest part about the books is that I'm finished, and now have nothing to read...I'm goin crazy! I think its time for a trip to borders...Any suggestions? I have started re-reading the books I own, which is ok but I really want something new! If I don't find something soon, Kris might kick me for obsessing over old books (I tell her all about them)!
Well folks, I think I'm going to head to bed now...I'm pretty much exhausted! Have a great weekend!
ps...I hate the snow!

Ode to Life
I don't think anyone really reads these, (so if you do, please comment), but what the hell. I'm going to keep writing anyway. Its fun and kinda therapeutic to be honest.
Good News--I'm finally beginning to feel comfortable in my public speaking class--its a miracle! I actually enjoy it now (not so much the speaking in front of the class part as the class discussion part, but still...). I have a great teacher.
I went to dinner with my cousin Saturday night. I haven't hung out with her since we studied abroad in London almost a year ago! It was great! I miss Europe like crazy, and it was fun to talk about it! I may be behind in school (the study abroad classes had absolutely nothing to do with my major), but it was well worth it! I decided that I am in no hurry to finish college. The homework sucks, but the social life is fantastic. I am in no hurry to get to the career I will be in for life...I'm just going to live it up and see what I want to see and do what I want to do now while its easy! I recommend the same to everyone else too! Why not? The past couple of years have been a blast. I have done the most random, weird things both with friends/roommates and on my own. I've done everything from singin in the sprinkler at 3am with roommates to deciding to study abroad and flying to london a month later. I wouldn't trade those experiences/memories for the world!!!

The Addiction...
So, I just finished twilight AGAIN! Its just as addicting the second time...almost even more addicting! All I can say is that Bella better become a vampire in book four(she is will make a freakin sweet vampire with all sorts of crazy powers), or I will protest...and I'm psyched for the movie!

A New Week
Well, folks its a new week! Its been fun so far...One Tree Hill season five started today! If you don't watch it, you should because its awesome! I made a new cake yesterday too. For those of you who don't know, I've recently gotten into baking and decorating cakes. Its actually really fun. Yesterday, I decided to try something crazy and new, so I asked some friends what flavors I should use and I ended up with a Strawberry Kiwi cake. I know it sounds weird and disgusting, but it was actually really good. I'm not much of a fan of strawberry anything, so I preferred the Kiwi layer lol. I also got to give my first speech in my public speaking class today...It was terrifying and I am sooooooooooo not looking forward to the rest of the semester. I get extremely nervous when I speak in public so I talk super fast and skip half of what I prepared as I rush to finish. Any tips?

Its about time...
I had to start this as an assignment in English last year, and I have not used it since...but I have decided to start again! Its no longer homework, but I'm sorry if you run across some of the old blogs about essay topics and all that fun stuff!
December went by in a blur. It went way too fast, but I'm stoked that its a new year! Last year was not one of the best, and I hope 2008 will be better! It will be as far as I'm concerned...I started the year by changing my major to Respiratory Therapy, and applying and getting accepted to Weber State University! Ogden is not my first choice of a hometown, but I'm still super excited. My goal for this year is to meet new people and make new friends-not that I don't want to keep the old ones. I absolutely love the amazing friends that I have, but there are not very many of them...Everybody is moving or drifting away!
